Barmy owner Eve Lodge has been nominated in two categories for the 2016 Yorkshire Choice Awards.
Our 17-year-old entrepreneur is up for the Young Achiever award as well as the gong for Independent Business of the Year.
Already this year Eve (pictured) has received the ‘Solopreneur’ prize at the Yorkshire BiY awards; finished runner-up in the Aspiring Entrepreneur category of the national Making Business Happen Awards, and was nominated for the Yorkshire Women of Achievement’s Young Achiever Award.
She also reached the final of The Pitch, the UK’s biggest small business competition.
The newly-formed Yorkshire Choice Awards are a celebration of achievement in the white rose county. There are 10 categories in all: Independent Business of the Year; Business Woman of the Year; Business Man of the Year; Customer Service Award; Yorkshire Media Personality of the Year; Young Achiever; Charitable Business Award; Sporting Achievement of the Year; Inspirational Individual of the Year; and Local Fundraiser of the Year.
People are asked to vote for their favourite (go to: http://www.yorkshirechoiceawards.co.uk/#!vote-here/c1bv4), and the winners will be unveiled at the Award Ceremony on 2nd April 2016 at The Centenary Pavilions, Leeds United Football Club.
You can choose one person in each category, and only one vote per IP address can be accepted. Voting closes at the end of February 2016.
Said Eve: “I would love to win an award, not just for myself but for the whole of Barnsley!”
